Cloud Native Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver in-depth technical and business knowledge to clients operating stateful applications within containers.

• Assist customers in automating their “Day 2” data management processes.

• Act as a customer-facing Cloud Native Architect and advocate for the “Kubernetes Everywhere” initiative.

• Facilitate the adoption of Portworx, Everpure’s cloud-native Kubernetes data solution.

• Collaborate with customers and co-selling partners to achieve desired business objectives.

• Showcase technical solutions and provide thought leadership to clients and industry audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a senior-level technical architect in a customer-facing role.

• Charismatic, confident, and personable self-starter with a proven history of success in public speaking, customer interactions, and various platforms.

• A team-oriented leader capable of coaching and influencing desired behaviors without relying solely on title.

• More than 5 years of experience in Linux Administration and/or Linux development, along with an industry-recognized administration-level or higher certification.

• At least 3 years of experience in Kubernetes Administration and hold a KCNA certification or higher.

• Certification-level proficiency in OpenShift, Rancher, or another Kubernetes orchestration platform.

• Certification-level expertise in Cloud IaaS environments such as VMware, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OpenStack.

• Certification-level familiarity with DevOps methodologies and hands-on experience with tools like Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline applications.

• Certification-level knowledge in data engineering, big data, and database operations, including delivery and operational services.

• Clear understanding of data platform technologies for highly available business applications in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

• Solid grasp of the enterprise application development lifecycle and how container platforms influence it.

• Capability to present a comprehensive vision, offer thought leadership, enhance solutions, and challenge existing norms to achieve customer goals.

• Proficiency in simplifying complex challenges into a clear vision that generates customer interest in Everpure technologies.

• Strong commitment to continuous personal and professional improvement.

• Willingness to travel regionally as required, up to 50% of the time.
