Senior Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan, design, and implement product features from start to finish across the entire stack.

• Collaborate directly with member services, operations, and other stakeholders to transform ambiguous challenges into deliverable solutions.

• Define project scope, assess trade-offs, and clarify what "done" entails.

• Integrate LLM-driven experiences, agents, and reusable skills within the platform.

• Utilize AI development tools like Claude Code to quickly prototype and deploy solutions.

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while conducting code reviews.

• Instrument products to measure user engagement, identify friction points, and assist member services.

• Communicate implementation requirements and aid in managing daily agile workflows.

• Collaborate closely with the CTO to establish a robust technical foundation.

• Develop HR-facing offboarding tools and a post-employment health insurance marketplace portal.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building and planning product features as a full-stack engineer.

• Proficient in React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Node.js, or a strong aptitude for learning the stack rapidly.

• Excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Strong product intuition and judgment for making scope and trade-off decisions.

• Practical experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf.

• Fundamental understanding of LLMs, agents, skills, and prompt design.

• Capable of building scalable and observable software.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

• Willingness to disclose whether employment sponsorship is needed.
