This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Design, develop, and test a platform-agnostic GUI application software for Windows, OS X, and Linux.
• Integrate GUI applications with both wired and wireless communication protocol stacks, as well as embedded firmware systems in professional audio products.
• Contribute throughout all phases of software development.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, test engineering, and system engineering to define use cases, requirements, and software testing procedures.
• Design and implement GUI application software for controlling audio products and networking technologies.
• Prototype GUI application software utilizing Angular.
• Engage in architecture, design, coding, integration, and test planning activities.
• Research and incorporate new GUI application technologies and IDEs into the software development workflow.
• Integrate and test both proprietary and non-proprietary networking communication protocols.
• Estimate, organize, and document tasks efficiently.
• Review designs and code from peer engineers to guarantee software quality.
• Mentor junior staff members on best technical practices.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in application development.
• A strong portfolio showcasing successfully delivered projects.
• Proficient hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, GraphQL, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Nx monorepos, Electron, and Node.js, including native addons.
• Proficiency with tools such as git, Sourcetree, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and SVN.
• Background in application UI development using AngularJS/Angular materials.
• Knowledge of GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, and subscriptions.
• Strong grasp of design patterns, application architecture, SOLID principles, and unit testing with Jasmine/Jest.
• Experience in developing interfaces utilizing WebSockets.
• Familiarity with the full software development life cycle management.
• Proficient in executing projects using agile methodologies.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with various stakeholders and geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with IDEs like Visual Studio Code.
• Experience working with frameworks such as NRWL.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
