Senior Engagement Principal – Software Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert in supply chain during both pre-sales and implementation phases.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Technical teams to enhance product offerings and guide its development.

• Act as the main liaison among customers, Aera, consultants, and system integrators, including engagement with C-level executives.

• Ensure that project requirements are clearly understood and met on schedule, aligning with customer expectations and statements of work.

• Oversee project resources, monitor progress using key performance indicators (KPIs), and escalate issues when necessary.

• Keep projects aligned with the defined scope and ensure tasks are on track.

• Organize and facilitate meetings and workshops with potential clients, from initial discovery to final software evaluation presentations.

• Estimate and document project requirements for proposals and statements of work.

• Represent Aera and its product delivery experience.

• Take ownership of project delivery while contributing to both functional and technical outputs.

• Foster long-lasting client relationships and provide guidance to senior client executives.

• Contribute to the growth of existing clients by outlining roadmaps toward Decision Intelligence.

• Assist in acquiring new customers through workshops, RFx responses, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and proposals.

• Handle responsibilities associated with both pre-sales and post-sales stages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in leading and managing post-sales enterprise software implementation projects.

• Exceptional on-site, customer-facing abilities, including communication, project management, and relationship development.

• Profound understanding of customer needs and challenges, with the capability to define appropriate solutions.

• Extensive knowledge of supply chain practices, including metrics across demand, supply, manufacturing, inventory, and order management.

• Familiarity with enterprise IT and software, including ERP systems (Oracle and SAP), cloud/SaaS solutions, security, mobile applications, BI, planning, and execution systems.

• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and planning software, particularly SAP and leading systems such as JDA and Kinaxis.

• Experience with agile project methodologies and Scrum.

• Proven track record in writing proposals and statements of work (SOWs).

• Demonstrated ability to manage technical team members effectively.

• Willingness to travel globally.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.

• Master's degree is highly desirable.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries is a plus.
