Senior Employment Law Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Drafting collective agreements: Collaborate with management and social partners to negotiate and formulate collective agreements.

• Management of relations with employee representative bodies: Oversee interactions with a works council that represents over 300 employees and facilitate various committees.

• Individual case management: Provide guidance to HR teams and managers regarding specific employee matters.

• International law and subsidiary oversight: Ensure adherence to HR practices in subsidiaries, benchmark legal obligations, and coordinate with local legal advisors.

• Legal performance oversight: Establish compliance KPIs and identify potential legal risks associated with growth.

• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments: Continuously track changes in French and international employment law and communicate updates to the teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in employment law or a similar field.

• 8–10 years of experience in labor/employment law, ideally in an in-house role.

• Experience in a scale-up or rapidly growing environment.

• Strong knowledge of French and international employment law (experience with German or Spanish employment law is advantageous).

• Business-focused mindset.

• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with employee representative bodies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Self-sufficient, pragmatic, and solution-driven.

• Proficient in both French and English.
