Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Offer extensive technical knowledge in Naval power and energy systems, encompassing hardware performance, physics, component controls, and supervisory system controls.

• Produce client-facing models, simulations, and comprehensive reports.

• Design, test, and validate software for the supervisory control of Naval power systems.

• Create software to implement supervisory controls for power systems.

• Assist in the technical execution of power system modeling and simulation projects.

• Develop and validate models using MATLAB/Simulink.

• Create and validate models for real-time simulation environments utilized in hardware-in-the-loop scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Capability to obtain a DoW Secret Clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Over 8 years of professional experience in electrical power systems and/or microgrids.

• Profound expertise in MATLAB/Simulink.

• Familiarity with supervisory control techniques for power systems, particularly in maritime environments.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to provide clear technical reports and concise briefings to stakeholders.
