Senior Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for executing various tasks that involve the application of standard electrical design engineering methods for either a small project or specific portions of a more extensive project.

• This individual must be adept at exercising independent judgment to assess, choose, and implement standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, making minor design adjustments and modifications as necessary.

• The role requires the colleague to establish assignments with clear objectives that necessitate the investigation of a limited set of variables.

⛳️ Requirements

• A 4-year engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program is typically required for this position, along with 10+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent working knowledge/experience/advanced degree in engineering) in electrical engineering systems within the Built Environment.

• Significant experience in using various computer software packages and automated electrical engineering and design tools is essential.

• Candidates should possess a Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification and be actively pursuing Professional Engineering (PE) Registration.

• Attainment of PE registration is expected within the first 2 years of achieving this position level.
