Senior Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide engineering services for the design and construction of various projects.

• Assign tasks to ensure the completion of project designs.

• Ensure the technical quality of all designs for assigned projects.

• Guarantee the timely delivery of all project deliverables.

• Allocate tasks and responsibilities across multiple projects to meet deadlines.

• Coordinate design aspects with other disciplines involved.

• Engage with potential clients to support business development initiatives.

• Review shop drawing submissions to confirm adherence to contract specifications.

• Conduct site investigations to ensure projects are executed to the required standards.

• Provide mentorship to new designers and junior engineers during onboarding.

• Maintain accurate documentation of project information using Newforma Konekt.

• Perform peer reviews and editing of projects for necessary approvals.

• Contribute to the establishment of company-wide standards and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited institution.

• At least 10 years of experience in engineering and project management, or a comparable mix of education and experience is preferred.

• Possession of a Professional Engineering (PE) License.

• Current and active NCEES registration in good standing.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

• Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools, and Visual (or AGI32); familiarity with Creo Parametric is an advantage.

• Knowledgeable in Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, Communications, and Electronic Security systems.
