This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create project proposals that encompass scope, timeline, and budget considerations.
• Oversee and direct several commissioning project teams simultaneously.
• Recognize potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to manage costs and prevent schedule delays.
• Manage project scope to fulfill contractual obligations and budgetary constraints.
• Ensure that projects adhere to company policies, standards, and client value expectations.
• Act as the primary contact for clients and, when necessary, fulfill the role of Client Program Manager with responsibilities for business development.
• Assist in research activities for technical papers and industry presentations.
• Provide mentorship to team members and support their training, development, and the establishment of standards.
• Contribute to organizational planning and assist in recruitment efforts.
• Conduct inspections, validations, testing, and verification of systems and methodologies.
• Supervise functional testing of equipment and electrical systems.
• Ensure that tasks and deliverables are achieved on schedule and within budget parameters.
• Plan, schedule, and implement the complete life cycle commissioning of critical facilities.
• Assist with MEP design reviews and lead functional testing of intricate electrical systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and client teams to test, validate, and operate electrical systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
• In-depth understanding of electrical system principles.
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational and document management skills.
• High attention to detail with the capability to complete tasks accurately.
• Strong analytical abilities for report preparation, complex problem evaluation, and solution implementation.
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical information.
• Capability to serve as the primary contact for clients.
• Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong collaborative skills across interdepartmental and multi-role teams.
• Proficient in planning, coordinating, and delegating tasks.
• Adherence to safety requirements is essential.
• Must be eligible for NFPA 70E / OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certifications as needed.
• Competence in working effectively within a remote environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and self-management skills are necessary.
• Ability to utilize AI and emerging technologies to enhance workflows.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must be eligible to rent vehicles.
• Proximity to a major airport is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically, potentially to any or all 50 US states.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field, or two years of experience in electrical infrastructure installation, hands-on testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• A minimum of 13 years of additional experience in electrical infrastructure installation, hands-on testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in leading the full life cycle commissioning of critical facilities, including MEP design reviews and functional testing of complex electrical systems.
• Proven experience in leading project teams on complex initiatives and coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Previous experience as a primary client contact, including business development responsibilities as a Client Program Manager.
• Experience mentoring team members and contributing to training, standards, and policy/procedure development.
• A valid REAL ID or an acceptable alternative, such as a passport, is required for domestic air travel associated with the position effective May 7, 2025.
