📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the editorial team to ensure timely, precise, and captivating coverage of the British royal family, celebrity news, and feature articles.

• Spot intriguing story possibilities, formulate compelling editorial perspectives, and create engaging headlines that perform well.

• Assign, evaluate, edit, and publish articles while upholding the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

• Keep an eye on breaking news, prioritize coverage, and effectively manage newsroom processes under pressure of strict deadlines.

• Assess content performance and audience analytics to refine editorial strategies and enhance readership.

• Guarantee that all content is meticulously fact-checked and complies with editorial guidelines and publishing standards.

• Mentor writers and editors by providing consistent feedback aimed at enhancing editorial quality and team performance.

• Work together with social media, SEO, and audience teams to optimize content dissemination and engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of journalism experience, with a minimum of 1 year focused on content for U.S. or international digital audiences.

• At least 2 years of editing experience within a digital newsroom environment.

• Proven experience in managing or mentoring editorial teams.

• Strong passion for the British royal family, celebrity culture, entertainment, and trending news topics.

• Excellent grasp of grammar, storytelling techniques, news structure, and fact-checking best practices.

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
