This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee and direct multiple high-priority, complex projects throughout all stages of implementation.
• Collaborate with sales teams, laboratory operations, senior leadership, clients, and third-party vendors to guarantee successful project execution and client satisfaction.
• Establish strategic partnerships with the sales team to understand client needs, manage expectations, build trust, and deliver timely solutions.
• Maintain project documentation, including plans, timelines, risk assessments, and strategies for risk mitigation.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients and key stakeholders to enhance satisfaction, retention, and future business opportunities.
• Offer implementation support and strategic advice for EMR and laboratory integrations.
• Act as the subject matter expert on healthcare EDI transactions, HL7 messaging, EMR integrations, and electronic ordering/resulting workflows.
• Analyze, interpret, and troubleshoot complex HL7 order and result messages.
• Monitor the performance of interfaces and health reports to identify trends, mitigate risks, and enhance workflows.
• Conduct root cause analysis and devise solutions to technical and operational challenges.
• Serve as the escalation point for complicated client, vendor, and operational issues.
• Lead troubleshooting initiatives and ensure prompt resolution and communication.
• Mentor and train team members on EDI, HL7, and best practices in integration.
• Collaborate with leadership on departmental standards, best practices, and strategic interoperability initiatives.
• Associate's Degree.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare EDI, interoperability, healthcare IT, or related technical fields.
• Equivalent knowledge and skills may be accepted in place of the specified experience/education combination.
• At least 1 year of experience collaborating with EMR vendors, laboratory information systems, and third-party vendors during implementation and integration projects.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience and advanced knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, EDI transactions, electronic ordering/resulting workflows, and healthcare integration methodologies.
• Strong skills in project management, customer service, analysis, and organization.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Dedication to providing outstanding customer service and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Professional interaction with clients, vendors, leadership, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing as part of a team.
