Senior EDC Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Design, validate, and sustain programming solutions for CDMS (EDC systems like Rave/Veeva), data validation outputs, data review/risk management outputs, custom reports, and clinical trial programs, utilizing SAS, R, and/or Python.

• Create and uphold programs necessary for managing external vendor data, using SAS, R, and/or SQL.

• Collaborate with data managers, project managers, clinical data scientists, and biostatisticians to incorporate programming solutions into the comprehensive data management process.

• Serve as the main contact during the study setup and maintenance phase for inquiries related to system programming.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing within the Programming team through presentations and training resources.

• Execute data extraction from CDMS and develop data transfer programs.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior programmers assigned to a project.

• Assist in formulating and implementing enhancements to technical systems and processes within a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role.

• Remain informed about advancements in programming languages and data management tools to improve operational efficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in EDC programming (Medidata Rave and/or Veeva) for data validation outputs, data review/risk management outputs, custom reports, and programs in clinical trials.

• Expertise in one or more programming languages (R, Python, SAS, and/or SQL).

• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills, with a capacity to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a dedication to delivering high-quality outcomes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based.
