Senior Economic Damages Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee litigation projects aimed at assessing economic damages.

• Conduct analyses and create economic loss reports without being designated as the testifying expert.

• Reach out to existing clients to request documents and share findings, often collaborating with senior leadership.

• Engage with clients, including in-person meetings, to collect data and information related to the engagement.

• Develop damages analyses by selecting methodologies and constructing and reviewing financial models.

• Supervise other consultants carrying out tasks pertinent to report preparation.

• Direct file management and report writing through a collaborative team approach.

• Evaluate and analyze reports produced by opposing damages experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting.

• 3–7 years of experience in assessing economic damages in personal injury or employment litigation.

• Background in evaluating economic damages within litigation cases.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to produce high-quality expert reports.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.

• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong independent work ethic with proven leadership skills.

• Capability to effectively support and address client needs.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Preferred: Master’s degree with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis.

• Preferred: Five years of experience in evaluating economic damages in litigation cases.

• Professional certifications such as CEA, CVA, or ABV, or progress towards relevant certifications.

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.
