Senior Economic Damages Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee litigation projects to assess economic damages, conduct analyses, and compile economic loss reports without being designated as the testifying expert.

• Communicate with existing clients to address document requests and share findings from report analyses, primarily collaborating with senior leadership.

• Engage with clients through in-person meetings to collect data and information pertinent to the engagement.

• Develop damages analyses by selecting methodologies and constructing as well as evaluating financial models.

• Supervise other consultants tasked with activities related to report preparation.

• Lead the organization of files and produce reports utilizing a collaborative approach.

• Examine and assess reports provided by opposing damages experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting.

• 3–7 years of experience in evaluating economic damages within personal injury or employment litigation.

• Background in assessing economic damages in litigation cases.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capable of producing high-quality expert reports.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.

• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Competent in managing deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated independent work ethic along with leadership skills.

• Effective in supporting and fulfilling client needs.

• Master’s degree with a robust quantitative focus is preferred.

• Professional certifications such as CEA, CVA, or ABV are preferred, or ongoing progress toward relevant certifications.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Capability to work for extended periods at a desk and on a computer.
