Senior Economic Damages Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee litigation projects focused on assessing economic damages.

• Conduct analyses and create economic loss reports while remaining anonymous as the testifying expert.

• Directly interact with current clients regarding document requests and findings, primarily in collaboration with senior leadership.

• Meet clients in person to collect relevant data and information.

• Develop damages analyses by selecting methodologies and constructing and reviewing financial models.

• Supervise other consultants involved in the report preparation process.

• Manage file documentation and compose reports utilizing a collaborative team approach.

• Evaluate and scrutinize reports from opposing damages experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting.

• 3–7 years of experience in assessing economic damages within personal injury or employment litigation.

• Experience in evaluating economic damages for litigation cases.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality expert reports.

• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.

• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Capacity to manage deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong independent work ethic with proven leadership qualities.

• Ability to effectively meet and support client needs.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Preferred: Master’s degree with a strong quantitative emphasis.

• Preferred: Professional certifications such as CEA, CVA, or ABV, or evidence of progress towards relevant certifications.

• Capability to work for extended periods at a desk and on a computer.
