Senior Economic Damages Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee litigation projects focused on assessing economic damages.

• Conduct analyses and compile economic loss reports while remaining anonymous as the testifying expert.

• Communicate with existing clients for document requests and to discuss report analysis results, primarily in collaboration with senior management.

• Engage with clients through face-to-face meetings to collect relevant engagement data and information.

• Develop damages analyses by establishing methodologies and constructing and evaluating financial models.

• Supervise other consultants involved in tasks related to report preparation.

• Direct file management and report writing through a collaborative team effort.

• Evaluate and analyze reports from opposing damages experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting.

• 3 to 7 years of experience in assessing economic damages in personal injury or employment litigation.

• Experience in evaluating economic damages in legal cases.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to generate high-quality expert reports.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.

• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Capability to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong independent work ethic and demonstrated leadership skills.

• Ability to effectively support and fulfill client needs.

• A Master’s degree with a strong quantitative emphasis is preferred.

• Professional certifications such as CEA, CVA, or ABV are preferred, or a demonstrated progression towards relevant certifications.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.
