Senior ECAD Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Develop and modify electrical PCB designs, schematics, and material bills utilizing ECAD software, while offering technical solutions.

• Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives and promote continuous improvement efforts.

• Provide innovative, adaptable, and integrated solutions to address evolving business requirements in PCB design.

• Participate in and support programs, projects, and practices while adhering to the client's policies and procedures.

• Stay informed about industry and departmental trends and advancements to ensure that the client's services are aligned with or exceed industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant specialized field or an equivalent combination of education and pertinent work experience is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a Master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Proficiency with Xpedition VX2.13 or newer versions.

• Experience with multi-layer designs up to 28 layers.

• Familiarity with PCB design and fabrication specifics.

• Background in working within an Integrated Product Team environment.

• In-depth experience in the design, drafting, detailing, and packaging of PCB layouts, including parts placement, PCB layout, PCB electronic packaging, and PCB drawing creation.

• Experience in troubleshooting design data and configuration issues with external vendors.

• Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong independent problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to effectively optimize tasks and resources.

• Preferred experience with DDR4, DDR5, Versal devices, other high-speed signals, and their respective constraint management.
