Senior E-commerce UX/UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive e-commerce experiences from the ground up, encompassing homepages, collection pages, product pages, cart functionalities, navigation, search, and related content pages.

• Convert brand positioning, customer insights, and business objectives into distinct digital experiences.

• Establish scalable design systems for templates, sections, and future pages.

• Ensure designs are feasible for development, responsive, and compatible with Shopify.

• Generate detailed, implementation-ready designs.

• Comprehend customer journeys from discovery to purchase and retention.

• Recognize customer inquiries, concerns, and purchasing obstacles.

• Organize pages and content to enhance clarity, trust, product comprehension, and conversion rates.

• Contribute to the CRO strategy and prioritize enhancements based on customer and business impact.

• Create high-converting landing pages for campaigns, launches, paid traffic, and diverse customer segments.

• Adjust page structure and messaging according to traffic sources, customer awareness, and campaign objectives.

• Evaluate websites and pinpoint opportunities for usability, clarity, merchandising, and conversion enhancements.

• Conduct UX and CRO audits for both desktop and mobile platforms.

• Transform audit insights into actionable design enhancements.

• Engage in new website projects and ongoing optimization initiatives.

• Work proficiently in Figma, creating organized files, components, libraries, variables, and reusable patterns.

• Document interactions, responsive behaviors, and implementation prerequisites.

• Lead designs through internal and client feedback rounds, iterating swiftly.

• Collaborate with strategists, project leads, developers, and clients.

• Articulate design decisions clearly and constructively.

• Review implemented work and assist with design QA prior to launch.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of substantial professional experience in designing e-commerce websites and digital shopping experiences.

• A strong portfolio showcasing complete website designs.

• Proven experience in taking websites from initial concepts to fully developed systems ready for implementation.

• Familiarity with direct-to-consumer brands across various product categories.

• Background in a reputable agency, global agency, or similarly high-standard design setting.

• Proficient in Figma with experience in scalable design systems.

• Strong grasp of responsive design and mobile-first customer behavior.

• Experience designing landing pages tailored for various products, audiences, and campaign goals.

• Understanding of how design impacts conversion rates, average order value, and customer confidence.

• Exceptional attention to detail in typography, spacing, hierarchy, consistency, and interaction design.

• Ability to work efficiently while applying in-depth research when necessary.

• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of design outcomes.

• Experience with Shopify themes, templates, sections, and platform limitations is highly valued.

• Experience with CRO programs or experimentation teams is highly valued.

• Familiarity with heatmaps and session-recording tools like Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or Mouseflow is highly valued.

• Experience conducting UX, CRO, or heuristic website audits is highly valued.

• Experience supporting developers during implementation and executing detailed design QA is highly valued.

• Ability to use AI responsibly while maintaining strategic thinking, design judgment, brand consistency, accuracy, copyright compliance, and customer experience.
