This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of all Shopify elements, including collections, tags, product logic, pages, catalog management, and app integrations.
• Create and uphold a structured governance framework for e-commerce, incorporating Stage → Approve → Test → Deploy processes for all website updates.
• Guide, mentor, and develop a team of approximately five individuals and contractors across UX, Copywriting, Development, and E-commerce Operations.
• Oversee the complete operational execution of e-commerce launches, ensuring cross-functional preparedness, successful implementation, and post-launch verification.
• Establish, monitor, and report on essential e-commerce operational metrics, such as deployment speed, launch quality, approval-to-live cycle time, site performance, and operational effectiveness.
• Review current eCommerce processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and apply enhancements.
• Utilize advanced AI platforms (like Claude, ChatGPT, or other enterprise-level tools) to optimize operational workflows.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in E-commerce Operations, preferably within DTC or rapidly growing consumer brands.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience (conducting reviews, coaching, discipline), ideally with global teams.
• Demonstrated recent proficiency in managing Shopify, Shopify Plus, and Amazon stores.
• Experience in project management.
• Knowledge of key eCommerce tools and systems, including Klaviyo (email and customer communication), Loop or Recharge (subscriptions), After-Sell (upsells), and Looker / Triple Whale (reporting).
• Proven ability to utilize paid enterprise AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT Plus, Claude Team, Gemini Advanced) to enhance workflows, improve documentation, and speed up decision-making in an eCommerce/DTC setting.
• Strong organizational skills and project management capabilities.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, comfortable collaborating across departments and managing remote teams.
• Data-driven approach with proficiency in analyzing metrics and identifying operational challenges.
• Some travel may be necessary.
• Willingness to work in US time zones, irrespective of geographic location.
