Senior Domain Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Build trusted-advisor relationships with prospects and clients in collaboration with Sales Specialists and local partners.

• Identify and document customer challenges that can be addressed through integrated solutions.

• Design and propose validated solutions tailored to individual customer environments.

• Conduct presentations, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and respond to RFP/RFI inquiries.

• Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, support, and product adoption.

• Maintain technical leadership by engaging in continuous self-improvement and learning across areas such as data center, SDN, public cloud, security, networking, and related technologies.

• Understand and differentiate Palo Alto Networks solutions from leading competitors.

• Advocate for customers in matters requiring technical assistance and ensure follow-up until resolution.

• Provide training and technical support to sales teams.

• Share product management insights regarding feature requests and product enhancements based on customer feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering focusing on Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, or SSE/SASE.

• Proficient in L2-L4 Networking.

• Familiarity with L2 switching architectures, including Spanning Tree and VLANs/trunking.

• Understanding of IP routing, including static routes, OSPF, BGP, and route redistribution.

• Knowledge of L4 load-balancing.

• Exceptional customer communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience engaging with customers and showcasing problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.

• Strong understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, and BYOD solutions.

• Advanced knowledge of both on-premise and cloud-based network security technologies.

• Willingness to travel, potentially up to 50%, to facilitate in-person customer meetings.
