Senior Director, Technology Consulting – Medicaid & HHS Modernization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead significant Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) modernization initiatives for state Medicaid agencies, including MMIS and eligibility/enrollment systems.

• Foster thought leadership and manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.

• Supervise strategy and implementation phases, ensuring that deliverables meet established quality standards.

• Handle multiple priorities and motivate high-performing teams.

• Deliver large, complex projects with a hands-on approach.

• Capable of producing, reviewing, and presenting deliverables.

• Possess analytical skills and the ability to develop frameworks for junior staff.

• Have a comprehensive understanding of the vendor landscape and state modernization initiatives.

• Be exposed to other Health and Human Services (HHS) programs.

• Have experience in business development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Medicaid programs, both technical and programmatic.

• Experience in supporting state Medicaid agencies, particularly in MES modernization (including MMIS and eligibility/enrollment).

• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

• Background in a reputable management or technology consultancy focused on project delivery and business development.

• Proven ability to lead large projects and teams, integrating technical expertise with strategic vision.

• Comfortable influencing and establishing trust-based relationships with senior executives.

• A track record of achieving or surpassing revenue targets is preferred.

• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and creativity in crafting solutions to client challenges.

• Coachable, adaptable, and dedicated to continuous improvement.
