• Offer strategic advice to the executive leader regarding significant business initiatives, enterprise priorities, and performance goals.
• Transform enterprise goals into cohesive functional strategies, tactics, and measurable execution plans.
• Anticipate strategic risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
• Act as the representative for the executive leader in essential enterprise forums and decision-making environments.
• Spearhead the annual strategic and business planning process for the functional area, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
• Supervise the development, execution, and monitoring of both short- and long-term strategic initiatives linked to financial and operational outcomes.
• Foster accountability for achieving goals, performance metrics, and ongoing improvement.
• Ensure alignment in enterprise reporting, including executive dashboards, monthly and quarterly operating reviews, and materials for the executive leadership team, CEO, and board of directors.
• Direct, monitor, and engage in highly complex strategic projects involving intricate, cross-functional teams.
• Act as an executive liaison to resolve issues and guarantee the successful implementation of company initiatives.
• Lead or advocate for cross-functional teams that support the planning, development, and execution of key initiatives.
• Identify and address risks that could affect financial performance, operational stability, or organizational reputation.
• Conduct thorough analysis, interpreting large data sets in Excel or data analytics tools to present fact-based options to the Executive Leadership Team member.
• Clearly communicate executive decisions and oversee downstream execution.
• Organize and facilitate leadership forums, town halls, and strategic summits.
• Prepare and supervise executive presentations for both internal and external audiences.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, inclusivity, accountability, and engagement aligned with enterprise values.
• Assist in talent development initiatives in collaboration with HR to enhance the leadership pipeline and organizational capacity.
• Ensure effective communication of performance metrics and business outcomes.
• Facilitate leadership meetings and create executive-level content as necessary.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic planning, operations, consulting, finance, or related fields within complex organizations.
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Preferred background in clinical operations and/or healthcare strategy, including experience in care delivery models, hospitals, or managed care.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Exceptional strategic thinking skills and enterprise-level business acumen.
• Proven capacity to translate complex information into strategy and execute that strategy with discipline.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Advanced expertise in project and program management.
• Demonstrated success in navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Strong financial literacy and comprehension of operational drivers.
• Proficient in early identification of issues and mobilizing resources to resolve them.
• Highly facilitative leadership style with strong interpersonal effectiveness.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
