Associate Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and develop object-oriented models for discrete manufacturing assets utilizing AVEVA System Platform.

• Develop digital twin solutions for production lines, encompassing Robots, CNC machines, Conveyors, and Assembly Stations.

• Deploy AVEVA MES Performance solutions to track real-time OEE, cycle times, production losses, and micro-stops.

• Create Andon dashboards and operator visualization interfaces using AVEVA OMI.

• Configure and oversee AVEVA Historian to facilitate high-speed manufacturing data acquisition and analysis.

• Integrate 3D Viewer and PLC Viewer applications within AVEVA OMI for equipment visualization and diagnostics.

• Design and assist in OT-to-ERP integrations for Work Orders, inventory consumption, and production execution.

• Establish and standardize reusable AVEVA graphics, objects, and engineering templates across manufacturing locations.

• Set up MES logic for production tracking, including Good/Bad part counting, scrap management, and rework processes.

• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and production teams to enhance Takt Time, equipment utilization, and overall production efficiency.

• Diagnose manufacturing system issues and support continuous improvement initiatives within digital manufacturing environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Total experience: 13+ years.

• Extensive expertise in AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA InTouch, and AVEVA MES (Performance/Operations).

• Practical experience in Discrete Manufacturing settings such as Automotive, Packaging, Machine Building, or Assembly lines.

• Proficiency in designing object-oriented asset models and digital twins with AVEVA System Platform.

• Strong knowledge of AVEVA Historian, AVEVA OMI, Andon Systems, and production visualization techniques.

• Experience in integrating shop floor (OT) systems with ERP/MES for production order and inventory synchronization.

• Competent SQL skills for managing production data, Work Orders, Bills of Materials (BOM), and MES transactions.

• Understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), cycle time analysis, micro-stops, Takt Time, and production KPIs.

• Familiarity with industrial automation assets including Robots, CNC machines, Conveyors, and Assembly Stations.

• Knowledge of high-speed manufacturing data collection, root cause analysis, and manufacturing analytics.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.
