Senior Director, Solutions Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Provide a strategic vision, transformational leadership, and technical oversight for the Solution Architecture program.

• Lead the daily operations of the Solution Architecture team.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and architectural advocacy.

• Create the comprehensive architectural vision.

• Ensure the delivery of high-caliber designs that comply with Enterprise Architecture principles.

• Collaborate closely with product engineering and platform leaders.

• Propel the modernization of outdated thinking by incorporating AI-driven capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.

• At least 5–7 years of experience in directly managing and developing high-performing, matrixed technology or architecture teams in agile/product-driven settings.

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in an Information Technology architecture or technical role.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing modern, cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Preferred hands-on experience with API-led connectivity, microservices, DevOps/DevSecOps practices, and operationalizing AI/ML solutions.

• Extensive expertise in guiding “buy vs. build” decisions.

• Proficiency with contemporary Enterprise Architecture management and modeling tools (e.g., LeanIX).

• In-depth technical knowledge and extensive experience in the healthcare industry.
