This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.
• Oversee the Integrations, Workflows/Orchestration, and Data Management teams within Platform Engineering.
• Lead and mentor three seasoned Managers along with approximately 40 engineers and contractors.
• Establish the multi-quarter roadmap for integrations, workflows/orchestration, and data management efforts.
• Propel platform modernization, organizational structuring, headcount planning, and career development initiatives.
• Collaborate with the VP of Software Engineering on platform strategy and organizational matters.
• Take charge of the strategy and roadmap for native integrations and APIs that connect ZoomInfo’s data product to client systems.
• Direct the architecture for scalable backend services, event-driven integrations, and workflow orchestration platforms.
• Lead connector development, partner/ISV integrations, API/webhook strategy, and enhance developer experience.
• Ensure enterprise-level reliability, throughput, observability, security, high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Manage data quality and management capabilities, which include deduplication, standardization, enrichment, verification, compliance, and governance.
• Collaborate with Product, Cloud Partners, Legal, Compliance, and various cross-functional stakeholders.
• Implement enablement programs such as documentation, training, and onboarding processes.
• Oversee vendor and partner relationships, including contracts, negotiations, build-vs-buy evaluations, and SaaS cost optimization.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in software/platform engineering, integrations, or data engineering leadership roles.
• A minimum of 4 years in a Director-level position or higher.
• Proven experience in leading and scaling engineering teams of 25+ individuals through managerial staff.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, NestJS, Kafka, and workflow orchestration platforms like Temporal or Google Cloud Workflows.
• Experience in managing integrations or connector ecosystems across CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, and data warehouse platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage through managers and cultivate high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale data quality and data management, including deduplication, standardization, enrichment, GDPR, and CCPA compliance.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with business and product stakeholders.
• Experience in steering platform modernization initiatives.
• Strong vendor and partner management experience, inclusive of contract negotiations, build-vs-buy assessments, and SaaS cost optimization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: knowledge of event streaming and orchestration at scale, no-code/low-code workflow builders, API strategy and webhooks, and multi-cloud environments.
