This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the program management and planning initiatives at Uniphar Development.
• Formulate and execute long-term strategies for program management across the organization.
• Create program management policies and procedures that align with the strategic direction of both the company and its partners.
• Act as the line manager for Program Managers and other personnel involved in program management.
• Function as the Program Manager for significant, long-term, and complex projects while supporting partners with drug development programs.
• Develop standard best-practice procedures, processes, and guidelines for effective program and project management.
• Provide guidance to project management staff and facilitate training in project management.
• Allocate project tasks, assess workloads, supervise staff, set objectives, and delegate responsibilities.
• Monitor and coordinate project teams along with daily operations.
• Supervise functional areas and vendors engaged in projects.
• Project future budgets and assist in the renegotiation of contracts and budgets.
• Manage alterations in contract scope and track the contractual and financial progress of projects.
• Prepare and oversee master integrated timelines for programs or studies.
• Anticipate changes in timelines and evaluate their impact on deliverables.
• Conduct risk analyses for projects/programs and devise solutions to mitigate risks.
• Implement CAPA processes to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Provide progress updates to senior management and partners.
• Coordinate resources across various functional areas.
• Recommend actions on human resource issues, including recruitment, terminations, training, performance evaluations, and job descriptions.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Management of Uniphar Development.
• Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, accompanied by 15 years or more of experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or clinical research organizations.
• At least 10 years of project management experience, showcasing program management success in a leadership capacity.
• Strong advanced skills in communication, planning, organization, and business acumen.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in line management.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, depending on assigned responsibilities.
• Significant use of telephone and in-person communication, requiring accurate speech perception.
• Extensive use of computers involving repetitive finger motions.
