Senior Director, Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and manage a customer-focused product portfolio strategy and roadmap.

• Implement data-driven prioritization, investment suggestions, roadmap trade-offs, sequencing, and resource allocation.

• Prepare and present executive recommendations, business cases, roadmap updates, performance evaluations, and decision-making materials.

• Convert intricate market, clinical, technical, financial, and operational data into clear executive summaries.

• Facilitate cross-functional alignment among commercial, clinical, technical, operational, quality, financial, legal, and executive stakeholders.

• Collect and combine insights from customers, providers, competitors, reimbursement systems, clinical data, technology, and regulatory frameworks.

• Supervise business cases and ROI analyses while advising on portfolio prioritization decisions.

• Ensure the definition of product requirements, value propositions, target segments, workflows, pricing considerations, launch criteria, success metrics, and lifecycle plans.

• Establish routines for product performance management and initiate corrective actions for risks and underperformance.

• Oversee product enhancements, releases, lifecycle improvements, commercialization readiness, launch planning, training, messaging, sales enablement, and post-launch optimization.

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing product management team.

• Create standardized product management practices, tools, and decision-making frameworks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product management.

• At least 5 years in a leadership position within molecular diagnostics, genomics, or a related healthcare sector.

• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional product teams from concept through commercialization.

• Strong experience in clinical diagnostics, precision medicine, or laboratory-developed tests (LDTs).

• Established ability to define product vision and foster innovation.

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• A combination of education and experience equivalent may be taken into account.

• Preferred: an advanced degree such as MS, PhD, MBA, or a genetic counseling degree.

• Preferred: experience within the prenatal/reproductive health sector or oncology market.
