• Act as the primary communication link between the field and all P&O Departments.
• Advocate for the needs of the field while collaborating to create comprehensive people strategies and programs/solutions across functions.
• Develop a long-term vision and roadmap, including people strategies and tactics, to provide top-tier P&O programs/solutions for VCA Field Associates.
• Collaborate with field leaders and P&O COEs to design 'Fit-for-Veterinary Services' programs/solutions and roll them out in the field.
• Assist, train, and mentor business leaders in executing P&O initiatives and key processes.
• Work with COEs and Corporate Affairs to create effective communication and change management strategies.
• Examine P&O trends and metrics to formulate targeted people programs/solutions.
• Offer daily guidance to leaders on the aforementioned programs.
• Create people strategies and career development plans in collaboration with senior leaders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Over 10 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or a related field, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
• Candidates with equivalent operational experience and a proven history of strong people outcomes will also be considered.
• Preferred experience in service, retail, or hospitality sectors (multi-unit and people services businesses).
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to influence business leaders to drive innovation and transformation beyond P&O.
• Capability to quickly establish partnerships across various organizational levels.
• Proficient in talent management, talent acquisition, learning and development, associate engagement, total rewards, and organizational design and development.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Ability to rapidly plan and organize with a focus on customer delivery and communication.
• Experience and expertise in change management, project management, and continuous improvement with a strong attention to detail in follow-through.
