• Cultivate and sustain relationships with target and key health plans in the Southeast Region.
• Partner with the Southeast Region leadership team and sales to devise and implement growth strategies.
• Accountable for the development, negotiation, and maintenance of financially viable contracting arrangements that provide value for both health plans and Labcorp.
• Supervise the analysis of billing trend data and/or market information to derive insights that support negotiation strategies and ensure appropriate reimbursement.
• Ensure that all contracts adhere to departmental operational, quality, and legal standards.
• Formulate and execute strategies to implement collaborative, value-added programs with health plans.
• Stay informed about industry changes and trends while enhancing key stakeholders' market knowledge to effectively meet growth objectives.
• Mentor staff by establishing clear, results-oriented goals and objectives.
• Oversee the hiring, development, training, and retention of high-quality, productive employees.
• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with either a healthcare provider managing health plan relationships or within a health plan in a network management role.
• Familiarity with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid products and their reimbursement methodologies.
• Experience in ancillary or laboratory contracting.
• Understanding of value-based contracting strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills, with experience collaborating with finance and legal teams to achieve positive outcomes and ensure contract implementation.
• Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
• Supportive leadership skills focused on developing and empowering team members.
• Capability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in presentation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must reside in the Southeast Region.
