This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the enterprise safety strategy in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Act as the executive sponsor for comprehensive safety initiatives and ongoing enhancement efforts throughout the company.
• Collaborate with Executive Leadership to embed safety into operational planning, business development, customer relations, and organizational decision-making processes.
• Create strategic multi-year roadmaps aimed at enhancing organizational performance while fostering growth objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing safety organization capable of supporting various business units and future expansion.
• Establish accountability, performance standards, succession planning, and leadership development within the safety function.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships that enhance collaboration among Safety, Operations, Commercial, Human Resources, Fleet, and other support divisions.
• Maintain a prominent presence in field operations to grasp business challenges, reinforce expectations, and ensure that safety programs are practical and effective.
• Promote consistency across safety management systems, risk mitigation strategies, incident investigations, and corrective action protocols.
• Leverage data analytics and leading indicators to proactively discern trends and enhance organizational performance.
• Provide executive oversight to ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and other federal, state, local, and customer-specific regulations.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in environmental, health, and safety leadership, including executive or senior leadership roles.
• Proven success in leading enterprise safety programs that support geographically diverse, multi-site field operations.
• Experience in organizations within the renewable energy, construction, industrial services, utilities, infrastructure, or similarly complex operational sectors.
• Demonstrated capability to influence executive leadership while facilitating organizational change and continuous improvement.
• Experience guiding organizations through periods of growth, operational transformation, or cultural shifts.
• Proven track record in developing scalable safety management systems that enhance both leading and lagging performance indicators.
• Willingness to travel as required.
