This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and articulate the strategic direction and objectives of the practice in alignment with the broader goals of the organization.
• Design and implement initiatives that advance the practice — and adapt strategies as market conditions evolve.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish annual OKRs and ensure accountability for their achievement.
• Oversee and mentor Practice Managers who lead project managers, consultants, solution architects, developers, and team leads.
• Provide direction and support throughout the practice, nurturing a high-performance, people-centric culture.
• Monitor and enhance team utilization to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Set the framework for practice methodologies, ensuring consistent and high-standard operations across the team.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging best practices to maintain the practice's competitiveness and innovation.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex client and project challenges — providing calm, clarity, and solutions when it is most needed.
• Identify skill gaps within the team and develop strategies for training, upskilling, and long-term growth.
• Review Statements of Work to ensure they align with the practice's objectives.
• Negotiate credits and manage client expectations to safeguard both satisfaction and profitability.
• Take ownership of the practice's financial performance — including revenue targets, utilization goals, profitability, and cost management.
• Contribute to decisions regarding the tools and applications that facilitate practice operations, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a consulting practice, professional services firm, or a comparable environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and their application in a rapidly evolving consulting setting.
• Financial expertise — comfortable managing a P&L, overseeing utilization targets, and driving revenue objectives.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to lead, inspire, and develop teams.
• Proven history of formulating and executing strategic plans that yield measurable business results.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt as priorities change.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Microsoft Dynamics or ERP consulting environment (Nice to Have)
• Familiarity with SOW development, credit negotiations, and professional services commercial models (Nice to Have)
• Experience collaborating with executive leadership on OKR frameworks and organizational planning (Nice to Have)
