• Take ownership of the RIG's product roadmap and sprint outcomes — Determine what the team develops, the sequence, and the rationale. Convert customer challenges and market opportunities into clear, testable product increments. Be responsible for what is delivered.
• Act as a player-coach — Lead by example. Compose requirements, facilitate standups, resolve engineering obstacles, and engage with customers all in the same week. This is a streamlined team where the leader establishes the pace.
• Propel the two foundational initiatives — Oversee product execution on Gross-to-Net automation and IRA Navigator (340B ceiling price management, MFP implementation, and duplicate discount detection). Cultivate extensive domain knowledge in government pricing compliance; become Model N's internal expert on these workflows.
• Establish the RIG's operating framework — Collaborate closely with the CPO and the wider product organization to create the RIG's charter, ceremonies, and connections with core product squads. Design for speed while maintaining quality and alignment.
• Incorporate agentic development techniques — Advocate for the use of AI-assisted and agentic development tools within the team. Model N is actively enhancing its BMAD (agentic development) capabilities; the RIG serves as the testing ground. While coding skills are not required, an understanding of these tools and how to optimize work using them is essential.
• Maintain a strong customer feedback loop — Identify and collaborate with design partners for each RIG initiative. Bayer is actively involved as a design partner for IRA Navigator. Cultivate relationships and processes to capture genuine customer insights before, during, and after each release.
• Collaborate with the core product organization — Ensure RIG outputs seamlessly integrate with Model N's product platform and roadmap. Communicate what the team is developing, what insights have been gained, and what is forthcoming — keeping the CPO and cross-functional stakeholders aligned without adding bureaucratic complexities.
• Advocate for RIG initiatives externally — Participate in discussions with customers and prospects to validate product direction, convey the roadmap, and establish market credibility for new capabilities.
• Over 8 years of experience in product management within enterprise B2B software, including a minimum of 3 years managing a product line or leading a product team.
• Proven experience in defining and launching new products or features in uncertain, early-stage environments — not merely managing an established roadmap.
• Strong collaboration with engineering: you comprehend the development lifecycle, can convert requirements into actionable engineering tasks, and know how to gain a developer's trust.
• Outstanding customer instincts — you are adept at leading customer discovery discussions, pinpointing real pain points from articulated requirements, and transforming insights into prioritized product decisions.
• History of thriving in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment where output is reliant on judgment and personal initiative rather than headcount.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of influencing without authority across product, engineering, and commercial stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent practical experience is a plus.
