This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the product vision and roadmap for capabilities in demand planning and inventory optimization, encompassing forecasting, inventory positioning, and replenishment strategies.
• Ensure strategic alignment among product teams by collaborating with executive leadership to provide solutions that adapt to changing market and customer demands.
• Direct the product strategy for demand and inventory offerings, which includes statistical forecasting, scenario planning, and optimization models that balance service levels, working capital, and supply constraints.
• Establish how customers plan, simulate, and react to demand variability and inventory trade-offs throughout the entire supply chain.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers and partners to gain insights into real-world planning challenges, such as forecast accuracy, excess and obsolete inventory, and service-level performance.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and customers to influence product direction, prioritize impactful capabilities, and ensure alignment with market trends (e.g., IBP, S&OP, demand sensing).
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and design teams to deliver scalable, high-performance planning capabilities, ensuring successful product launch and adoption.
• Define and monitor KPIs, including forecast accuracy, service level achievement, inventory turnover, and working capital efficiency; leverage insights to inform prioritization and continuous improvement.
• Clearly communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes to executive and cross-functional audiences.
• Tackle and resolve complex challenges throughout the product lifecycle, empowering teams to deliver impactful solutions at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field; an advanced degree is advantageous.
• Over 10 years of experience in Product Management within a global SaaS or technology organization, preferably in supply chain or planning sectors.
• More than 5 years of experience in leading and developing teams of Product Managers responsible for complex product portfolios.
• Extensive domain expertise in demand planning, inventory optimization, or supply chain planning.
• Strong knowledge of planning methodologies such as statistical forecasting, segmentation, safety stock optimization, and multi-echelon inventory planning.
• Demonstrated ability to define and implement product strategy from discovery through commercialization and scaling.
• Solid financial and business acumen, with experience in balancing cost, service, and risk trade-offs in product decision-making.
• Outstanding influencing and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with executive audiences.
