This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive ChemSim product strategy, vision, and roadmap, focusing on CHIPS Act deliverables, vertical platform depth, and commercial growth.
• Recruit, nurture, and oversee a team of 3–4 product management professionals specializing in Catalysis, Batteries, PFAS, and Magnets.
• Personally manage critical deliverables until the team is fully operational.
• Collaborate with the Senior Director of PM, Core Platform, to define, prioritize, and sequence platform capabilities.
• Lead ChemSim’s go-to-market strategy, including pricing, packaging, and customer segmentation.
• Expand the business into sectors such as oil and gas, energy, specialty chemicals, and advanced manufacturing.
• Build and maintain strategic product-level relationships with fabs, equipment OEMs, chemical suppliers, national laboratories, and manufacturing partners.
• Convert partner requirements into platform and vertical product features.
• Establish metrics and a structured operating rhythm that encompasses contract performance and commercial KPIs.
• Drive adjustments against OKRs as necessary.
• Formulate and justify build-vs-buy and build-vs-partner decisions for scientific engines, LQMs, and validation tools.
• Act as the primary product representative to DOC/CRDO stakeholders, semiconductor ecosystem partners, and potential commercial customers.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management.
• At least 5 years of experience managing teams of individual contributors.
• Strong expertise in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with computational scientists, experimental validation partners, and domain experts.
• Successful track record in delivering AI/ML-driven scientific or engineering platform products at an enterprise level.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS, API governance, and enterprise security and compliance.
• Experience in building and executing B2B go-to-market strategies for technical software.
• Proficient in pricing, packaging, sales motion definition, and expanding into new verticals.
• Comfortable translating ambiguous scientific and customer challenges into structured roadmaps, success criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• MBA or equivalent experience in business leadership and P&L management.
• Highly desired: experience in semiconductor manufacturing, oil and gas, energy storage, specialty chemicals, or advanced manufacturing.
• Highly desired: experience working with semiconductor ecosystem partners.
• Highly desired: experience with product-led growth in technical or scientific software platforms.
• Highly desired: experience with U.S. government R&D programs, including CHIPS Act, DARPA, DOE, milestone-gated funding, and compliance processes.
