This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide insights from customer segments to inform market access strategies for key brands.
• Assist in the development of brand value platforms and ensure account managers are well-versed in value propositions and core messaging.
• Maintain an understanding of brand goals with an emphasis on channel optimization.
• Establish and nurture relationships with both commercial and public-sector payors, as well as aligned specialty pharmacies.
• Facilitate profitable access for CSL brands among relevant payors while adhering to approved guidelines.
• Monitor the external environment, including customers and competitors, to uncover brand differentiation and opportunities for access enhancement.
• Take ownership of account deployment decisions, account strategies, business plans at the account level, and NAD direction.
• Participate in Contract Review and Pricing Committees, formulating recommendations alongside US Market Access, Finance, Legal, and Marketing teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to meet account-specific objectives.
• Develop industry contacts that provide insights into environmental factors, competition, and product-related information.
• Foster customer relationships to lay the groundwork for new business prospects.
• Maintain a dynamic team environment, set development plans, and promote cross-discipline assignments.
• Partner with the ED of MAA to encourage innovation, creativity, integrity, and high performance.
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) is required.
• 12–15 years of experience within the biotech sector, with a focus on rare and orphan disease medicines preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience with payors, specifically in channel account management.
• Background in pharmaceutical marketing and/or sales of products.
• Demonstrated success in leading, managing, and developing teams, including those working remotely.
• Proven track record of achieving formulary coverage for branded specialty products.
• Experience in account management across specialty pharmacies, GPOs, integrated health systems, and payers.
• Familiarity with relevant legal, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Capability to provide strategic insights into access strategies and execute tactical action plans, including pricing and contracting strategies.
• Strong leadership, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven success in working with cross-functional teams and influencing various levels within the organization.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to identify issues within higher-level policies and regulations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and peer leadership skills, with the capacity to influence without direct authority and work across functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
