This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and become an integral part of the Credit Acceptance marketing leadership team.
• Take charge of the marketing insights engine by integrating consumer, competitive, market, and dealer data into a cohesive enterprise narrative.
• Create and lead a top-tier Marketing Insights team.
• Enhance data-driven segmentation across various customer segments and geographic market opportunities.
• Facilitate a recurring “Friday Story” session with enterprise analytics partners.
• Generate insights and comprehensive business cases to prioritize growth and retention strategies.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to C-suite executives and senior leadership.
• Oversee the development and execution of the Marketing Long Range Plan as well as the 12-month operating plan.
• Construct and manage KPI performance dashboards, ensuring team accountability.
• Manage the budget and resource allocation for the Insights & Planning function.
• Act as chief of staff and primary advisor to the CMO and senior leaders, including for presentations at the board level.
• Specify marketing requirements for the Customer Data Platform.
• Advocate for an AI-first approach and streamline reporting and analysis through automation.
• Lead, nurture, and mentor a multi-layered insights and analytics team.
• Work remotely with occasional planned travel to the Southfield, Michigan office.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Over 15 years of experience in marketing insights, analytics, or strategy.
• At least 7 years in a leadership position.
• Proven history of developing consumer, competitive, and market insights capabilities that shape business strategy.
• Experience collaborating with analytics/data teams on platform requirements, including CDP, CRM, and data warehousing.
• Demonstrated success in presenting to and influencing senior executive audiences, including the C-suite.
• Strong program management abilities across multiple simultaneous work streams.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive presentation skills.
• Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
• Required degrees must be obtained from institutions of Higher Education accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or an equivalent body.
• Preferred: MBA or another advanced degree.
• Preferred: Experience in financial services, fintech, auto finance, or subprime lending.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms and marketing technology stacks.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting board-level reporting or chief of staff responsibilities.
• Preferred: Background in building or scaling AI-enabled analytics or automation capabilities.
