This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement a targeted marketing strategy aligned with company objectives, revenue goals, sales requirements, campaign opportunities, and measurable outcomes.
• Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), identify buyer challenges, and establish positioning, offers, messaging, and channel priorities across professional services and software sectors.
• Personally design and enhance campaigns, landing pages, emails, LinkedIn content, thought leadership pieces, case studies, event follow-ups, and sales resources.
• Simplify complex B2B concepts into clear, credible messaging that resonates with buyers.
• Establish a cohesive content, campaign, and demand-generation framework.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, sales teams, product managers, and subject-matter experts to convert business insights into actionable marketing initiatives.
• Enhance marketing operations, funnel visibility, reporting, testing, and decision-making processes.
• Selectively utilize vendors, optimize spending, and increase efficiency per dollar spent.
• Develop a clear marketing strategy and operational rhythm within the first year.
• Create a solid messaging foundation and initiate a consistent content and campaign schedule.
• Improve measurement practices and establish repeatable sales enablement and event follow-up processes.
• Drive measurable growth in qualified demand, engagement, pipeline influence, or other agreed-upon commercial metrics.
• Significant B2B marketing experience.
• Recent, authentic experience in a department-of-one or within an extremely lean team where you personally produced and delivered results.
• Extensive experience in demand generation, positioning, content creation, campaigns, sales enablement, marketing operations, and performance measurement.
• Proven ability to establish strategy and execute independently: write, launch, analyze, iterate, and enhance work.
• Strong copywriting skills and discernment to translate complex B2B topics into clear, specific, and commercially valuable content.
• Sufficient visual acumen to avoid generic, off-brand, or low-quality outputs.
• Evidence of AI-native execution through real workflows, agents, automations, prototypes, campaigns, analysis, or delivered work products.
• Ability to create practical measurement systems and make decisions amidst messy data or incomplete historical records.
• Quick learner with entrepreneurial ownership, strong prioritization, follow-through, and a low-ego approach to collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Commercial insight that recognizes the differing marketing approaches required for relationship-driven professional services revenue and recurring software revenue.
• Must be available in the United States with a strong alignment to East Coast working hours.
• Experience marketing both B2B professional services and B2B software is highly preferred.
• Finalists should be prepared to showcase a real AI-enabled marketing workflow they have built or utilized in practice.
• Occasional travel for company meetings, industry events, or conferences may be required.
• Demonstration of an AI-enabled marketing workflow for finalists.
• Compensation ranging from $165,000 to $200,000 annually.
