This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and take ownership of Vibrant Planet’s brand strategy — Enhance and sustain Vibrant Planet’s brand equity, along with its sub-brands, such as the Pyrologix brand and various product and model brands.
• Create and manage the comprehensive marketing strategy — encompassing demand generation, content, communications, and field/partner marketing — in alignment with the company’s growth objectives and sales pipeline requirements.
• Construct and communicate a compelling narrative tailored for a complex, multi-layered market that includes federal land agencies, state and local governments, utilities, insurers, and conservation finance stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the product team and product marketing, taking ownership of positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new platform features and customer segments.
• Lead demand generation initiatives that produce a qualified pipeline in collaboration with our sales and impact teams.
• Position Vibrant Planet as a thought leader in wildfire risk forecasting and mitigation/adaptation, community and forest resilience, and climate-smart land management through earned media, content, events, and strategic partnerships.
• Work closely with the science, product, and impact teams to simplify technical complexities into clear, credible, and engaging narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Oversee public relations, communications, and executive visibility — including the public profiles of executives and key team members.
• Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, which includes hiring, mentoring, and managing relationships with agencies and contractors.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across brand awareness, pipeline contribution, content engagement, and customer marketing effectiveness.
• Minimum of 8 years in progressive marketing leadership, with at least 3 years in a senior or VP role.
• Background in marketing to government, enterprise, or institutional buyers — preferably in sectors such as climate, cleantech, GovTech, environmental SaaS, or AI-forward products.
• Demonstrated success in developing brand and demand generation programs that result in measurable revenue impact.
• Experience in hiring and expanding a marketing function within a growth-stage organization.
• Proven ability to work effectively within mission-driven or public benefit organizations is advantageous.
