
Senior Director, Market Turnaround & Growth – Donor Recruitment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Spearhead strategic turnaround and growth initiatives in emerging, underperforming, and high-opportunity donor recruitment markets.
• Conduct in-market assessments to pinpoint operational challenges, process improvements, and market growth opportunities.
• Formulate and implement performance enhancement plans that support donor growth and collection objectives.
• Collaborate with Executive Directors, Donor Recruitment leaders, and regional management on market recovery and expansion.
• Mentor and develop Donor Recruitment Managers and field leaders.
• Identify training needs and execute leadership development strategies.
• Assist in sponsor retention, re-engagement of lapsed accounts, and new business development efforts.
• Analyze market trends, donor recruitment outcomes, and operational metrics to uncover root causes and solutions.
• Lead both short-term interventions and long-term strategic initiatives.
• Advocate for donor recruitment best practices, forecasting, territory planning, and operational standards.
• Work in collaboration with Marketing, Donor Care, Planning & Scheduling, Operations, and other internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to regional leadership on strategic planning, change management, and performance enhancement.
• Engage in enterprise-wide projects, councils, and initiatives.
• Travel nationally up to 50% for direct support, consultation, and leadership development.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Eight (8) years of progressive leadership experience in donor recruitment, sales, business development, healthcare operations, market development, or a related field is necessary.
• A minimum of five (5) years of leadership or supervisory experience is required.
• A proven track record of driving measurable performance improvement, market transformation, or business growth initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams across diverse geographic markets and varying business environments.
• Proficient in assessing business performance, identifying opportunities, and implementing strategic action plans that yield sustainable results.
• A history of developing leaders, enhancing operational performance, and fostering accountability.
• Strong business acumen.
• Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and devise actionable improvement strategies.
• Proven skills in leadership coaching and talent development.
• Strong change management and influence abilities.
• Experience in building partnerships and collaborating across all organizational levels.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Willingness to travel nationally up to 50%.
