Senior Director, Lender Success

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue lender partnership opportunities that align strategically.

• Cultivate relationships with potential lenders and oversee the partnership development process from initial discussions to launch.

• Manage key lender relationships, formulate account plans, and facilitate discussions regarding performance, priorities, and growth opportunities.

• Establish goals and expectations for the Lender Success team, mentor and develop team members, and implement consistent relationship-management practices.

• Work in conjunction with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Compliance on lender onboarding, partner initiatives, and addressing escalated issues.

• Create and monitor metrics for partnership success; leverage data and lender feedback to inform decisions and communicate opportunities, risks, and outcomes to leadership.

• Collaborate with Credit to conduct thorough analyses of performance trends and return on investment.

• Proven experience in developing and managing partnerships with lenders or financial institutions, demonstrating success in securing new relationships and expanding existing accounts.

• Background in managing and nurturing a team, establishing clear priorities, and ensuring accountability for outcomes.

• Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities, including experience engaging with senior stakeholders, handling complex discussions, and resolving partner issues.

• Experience in leading initiatives across business, technical, and operational teams, with the capability to translate partner requirements into actionable plans.

• Knowledge of lending operations and the skill to utilize performance data, business judgment, and partner feedback to uncover opportunities and make informed decisions.

• Experience managing a loan portfolio with a strong grasp of the metrics that influence returns; must be confident in being the subject matter expert and leading presentations.
