This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take ownership of the Legal & Compliance technology capability roadmap and conduct gap assessments.
• Convert legal and compliance priorities into a structured, fundable plan.
• Lead recommendations for build, buy, and consolidation, and create investment cases for executive approval.
• Foster alignment among Functional and Technical leadership.
• Manage the Legal & Compliance SaaS platform portfolio, including administration, configuration, vendor release and upgrade planning, and technical escalations.
• Oversee vendor evaluation and selection in collaboration with Sourcing and Legal; manage licensing posture, renewal strategies, and contract performance.
• Direct the contract lifecycle management process, including intake, authoring, negotiation, approval, execution, repository management, obligation oversight, and renewal.
• Conduct CLM evaluations, provide recommendations, and ensure delivery.
• Establish target-state contract architecture in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture.
• Influence the AI agenda for legal and compliance functions.
• Determine legal data, reporting, and integration requirements, and oversee the acceptance of completed work.
• Act as the primary technology partner for Legal leadership.
• Maintain scope, quality, and schedule across implementation partners while proactively escalating risks with recommended solutions.
• Lead a product team and collaborate with security, engineering, architecture, and data & analytics teams for successful delivery.
• A bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 12 years of experience in enterprise technology product or platform leadership.
• More than 5 years of experience leading teams.
• Proven ownership of a multi-platform legal technology portfolio, including CLM, matter management, e-billing, or document management.
• At least one complete CLM implementation experience, covering evaluation, configuration, and delivery.
• Extensive experience in SaaS platform ownership, including administration, configuration, release cycles, licensing, and renewals.
• A successful track record of developing business cases and guiding decisions through executive governance.
• Ability to influence others without unilateral authority and present effectively to senior leadership.
• Experience in collaborating with functional executives as a peer from the outset.
• Proficiency in architecture and integration, enabling informed platform decisions, requirement setting, and vendor claim scrutiny.
• Experience delivering through partner engineering teams and integrators.
• Preferred: experience in the legal or compliance domain within a corporate legal department, law firm, or legal technology vendor.
• Preferred: knowledge of the legal technology market, including CLM, matter and spend management, document management, entity management, GRC, and e-discovery.
• Familiarity with AI in production enterprise workflows, including associated governance.
• Experience in a matrixed technology organization.
