This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Prepare, assess, and negotiate the commercial portfolio, including SaaS customer agreements, order forms, DPAs, partner and channel agreements, vendor contracts, and NDAs.

• Manage deals from initiation to completion as the primary legal contact, engaging finance, security, product, and engineering teams as necessary.

• Keep the standard legal toolkit updated, including MSA, DPA, NDA, and SOW templates, negotiation playbooks, and self-service paths.

• Create and implement AI and automation workflows for contract intake, review, and drafting processes.

• Provide training and resources to GTM and cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Over 5 years of experience in commercial transactions, either in-house or at a law firm, with significant expertise in SaaS and technology agreements.

• Proven ability to independently manage commercial deals and achieve signature without extensive guidance.

• Strong instincts in legal operations.

• Solid business judgment.

• Understanding of privacy regulations in commercial contracting, including DPAs, data-handling terms, and cross-border transfer obligations.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean team environment where you take ownership of outcomes and solve challenges.
