This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• The Senior Director, Large Format Channel is accountable for achieving Net Sales and Operating Profit outcomes with our largest format retail partners.
• Formulate and execute strategic joint business plans with key clients through a growth-oriented approach, influencing customer category strategies, assortment, pricing, promotions, and shelf placement.
• Establish and nurture strong customer relationships across the Target and Kroger enterprises.
• Work in tandem with cross-functional teams—category management, customer service, marketing, supply chain, and finance—to meet company revenue and profit objectives.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle process for designated accounts, acting as the primary contact for the creation and development of top-tier selling materials.
• Manage broker agency partners—including the onboarding of new brokers—to execute the strategic vision and ensure outstanding customer service.
• Lead, train, evaluate performance, and enhance the skills, competencies, and capabilities of direct reports.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8–10 years of relevant customer development or sales experience within a CPG company.
• Experience managing Target and/or Kroger at the headquarters level is highly preferred.
• Experience in broker management is essential.
• Strong comprehension of P&L dynamics, trade budget management, and forecasting systems.
• Solid understanding of category management and shopper insights practices and principles.
• Proficiency with market intelligence and syndicated data systems (IRI/Circana, Nielsen, POS, household panel, PowerBI).
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; capable of defining and creating persuasive sell-in materials.
• Proven analytical, collaborative, and consultative skills; effective in a fast-paced, ever-evolving marketplace.
• Results-oriented mindset focused on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40-50% of the time.
