This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Supervise the activities related to provider contracting, network development, and/or provider relations functions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures.
• Manage provider contracting tasks to ensure efficiency and adherence to the business unit’s policies and standards, as well as relevant government laws and regulations.
• Execute development initiatives for the recruitment and contracting of provider networks in both new and prospective markets, as well as expansions in existing markets.
• Facilitate the launch of new business ventures in diverse markets while taking into account unique market conditions, the provider community, budget limitations, and available resources.
• Conduct intricate financial analyses to pinpoint opportunities for medical cost improvements, formulate strategies to achieve financial objectives, and implement contracting strategies to fulfill these goals.
• Supervise the contracting and network development team and external consultants in the establishment of provider networks for new and expanding markets.
• Evaluate performance, create, and execute business solutions to bridge process and quality gaps, while effectively communicating network strategies and planning.
• Willingness to travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of combined experience in contracting, network development, or provider relations.
• Prior experience in Medicaid/Medicare contracting and negotiating agreements with hospitals, large physician groups, and ancillary services.
• Previous management experience, including responsibilities for hiring, training, task assignment, and performance management of staff.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Candidates must reside in the state of Pennsylvania to be considered for this position.
