This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Implement the Company's investor relations strategy to ensure that messaging to the investment community is clear, consistent, and engaging.
β’ Create and uphold the Company's investment thesis, which encompasses business strategy, financial performance, capital allocation decisions, and long-term growth prospects.
β’ Oversee the preparation of quarterly earnings press releases, earnings calls, executive comments, investor presentations, and other external communications.
β’ Collaborate with Finance, Business Planning & Analysis, Legal, Operations, Marketing, and executive leadership on external disclosures and messaging.
β’ Keep track of market trends, investor sentiment, analyst reports, peer performance, and developments in the industry.
β’ Offer actionable market intelligence, investor feedback, valuation insights, peer benchmarking, and recommendations to senior leadership.
β’ Create briefing materials and strategic recommendations for investor engagement opportunities, conferences, roadshows, and market events.
β’ Assist with debt capital markets activities by aligning investor-facing materials and coordinating communications with stakeholders.
β’ Identify opportunities to enhance investor communications, reporting, transparency, and stakeholder engagement.
β’ Utilize technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting, market monitoring, analytics, and communications with stakeholders.
β’ Uphold the Company's credibility and reputation with shareholders and the broader financial markets.
β’ Carry out other duties as assigned.
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ At least ten years of progressive experience in investor relations, treasury, corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, investment banking, equity research, corporate development, or a related discipline.
β’ A minimum of six years of leadership experience in managing personnel, programs, or enterprise-level initiatives.
β’ Experience in supporting public company reporting, earnings processes, board reporting, investor communications, or capital markets activities.
β’ Proven ability to formulate strategic recommendations and influence decisions at the executive level.
β’ Experience engaging with senior leaders, investors, analysts, rating agencies, lenders, or other external financial stakeholders.
β’ Strong capabilities in financial modeling, analysis, business planning, and strategic thinking.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information.
β’ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with clarity, confidence, and conciseness.
β’ Must maintain compliance with Company policies, processes, and legal guidelines.
β’ Required degrees must be obtained from Higher Education institutions accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or an equivalent body.
β’ This position is not currently available to individuals who need sponsorship now or in the future to work legally for Credit Acceptance, including H-1b / H-4 or F-1 OPT visa holders.
β’ Preferred: Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ Preferred: CFA, CPA, CTP, IRC, or other relevant professional designation.
β’ Preferred: Experience in an investor relations leadership role at a publicly traded company.
β’ Preferred: Experience in supporting debt issuance, securitizations, funding strategies, liquidity management, or other treasury-related activities.
β’ Preferred: Experience with capital markets transactions, equity research, institutional investing, corporate valuation, or investment banking.
β’ Preferred: Experience in establishing investor relations functions, reporting frameworks, and strategies for stakeholder engagement.
β’ Preferred: Experience in leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics to enhance financial reporting and investor communications.
