Senior Director, Inference Products, Optimizations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Recruit, mentor, and guide engineers.

• Define and implement the Product roadmap for DigitalOcean's Inference Products.

• Lead the design and progression of the inference serving stack.

• Collaborate with Product Management and engineering teams.

• Ensure the production health and stability of all systems.

• Institutionalize best practices for system and infrastructure optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering.

• More than 6 years in a technical leadership or management position.

• Profound expertise in distributed systems design.

• Knowledgeable in modern AI/ML technologies.

• Experience with Kubernetes in large-scale environments.

• Understanding of cloud-native multi-region architectures.

• Familiarity with GPU architectures and hardware optimization techniques.

• Strong knowledge of systems engineering and security.

• Proficient in defining and monitoring infrastructure metrics.
