This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and guide Evidence Action's strategy regarding new program evaluations.
• Design and uphold centralized monitoring, learning, and evaluation (MLE) systems for effectively sharing, tracking, and utilizing evidence both internally and externally.
• Spearhead the formulation of Evidence Action's learning agenda.
• Provide high-level MLE oversight for the development of new programs and accelerator initiatives.
• Recognize and mitigate cross-program monitoring gaps and systemic risks.
• Advocate for the strategic implementation of data, technology, and artificial intelligence.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning within a global development framework.
• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline (economics, public health, social science, statistics, or similar).
• Proficient in program evaluation design and methodologies.
• Proven experience in developing Directors or senior leadership.
• Contributions to publications, conference presentations, or other forms of external thought leadership are highly regarded.
• Experience in building or transforming MLE systems within an organization.
• Ability to adapt communication styles fluidly across donors, board members, and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of the use of data technology and artificial intelligence.
