This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Drive the delivery of analytic services by aligning strategic goals with the creation of tools, capabilities, and the deployment of analytic teams.
• Oversee strategic healthcare analytics projects that focus on utilization management data, regulatory compliance, and executive-level business insights.
• Prioritize and guide analytics projects and strategic initiatives across the enterprise.
• Convert business objectives into actionable analytics strategies.
• Provide support and partnership to senior leadership, bridging business and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure clarity and transparency of strategic objectives to analytic teams.
• Emphasize teamwork and manage expectations and relationships with executive customers.
• Ensure alignment of team objectives and resource allocation with strategic goals and the requirements of various health plans and corporate stakeholders.
• Act as the main domain contact and a key point for escalation and accountability regarding customer partnerships and satisfaction.
• Lead the execution of the analytics strategy defined by executive governance and internal leadership teams.
• Collaborate with leaders across analytic domains to synchronize business needs and co-create analytic solutions.
• Mentor, manage, and foster the continuous development of leaders and analysts.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of experience in healthcare analytics.
• Proven experience in leadership roles, developing strategic plans, and operationalizing functional teams in direct alignment with business needs or strategic goals.
• Proficient in SQL/querying languages.
• Experience with table creation and indexing, query optimization, and the use of stored procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train leaders across various focus areas.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Direct experience in strategic planning and solution development is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques, and their effective application in a business performance context is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques, including data modeling, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis is preferred.
• Experience with change management processes and procedures is preferred.
• Preferred knowledge of contemporary business intelligence and visualization tools, including Microsoft PowerBI.
• Experience with clinical operations data for regulatory reporting is highly preferred.
