Senior Director, GTM AI Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of both onshore and offshore colleagues who are responsible for the applications and technology utilized by the GTM organization.

• Propel the transformation, rationalization, and integration of the current GTM technology landscape with an AI-first approach to accelerate the Alteryx GTM strategy.

• Collaborate closely with GTM management to gain a comprehensive understanding of existing system and process challenges affecting the execution of the Alteryx GTM strategy.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to GTM leadership, providing insights on the optimal use of AI and translating AI capabilities into business value.

• Define and refine standardized end-to-end GTM processes that will serve as the foundation for streamlining execution through automation, system integrations, and AI utilization.

• Identify, prioritize, and re-engineer slow, inefficient, and/or labor-intensive GTM processes with an AI-first mentality to enhance productivity and reduce time frames.

• Design innovative solutions, specify enhancements to existing systems, and/or select off-the-shelf applications to automate and expedite GTM processes.

• Utilize AI to boost ROI by enhancing GTM productivity, speeding up GTM time-to-value, and optimizing GTM engagements.

• Define integrations among current GTM systems and applications that streamline and simplify the execution of optimized GTM processes while ensuring data consistency across systems.

• Incorporate AI agents where applicable.

• Work in partnership with IT or other development teams to develop, deploy, and maintain new solutions, enhancements, applications, and integrations that facilitate both existing and re-engineered GTM processes, automate manual tasks, and streamline execution.

• Lead and direct your team (independent of other IT or development teams) in identifying, prioritizing, harvesting, deploying at scale, and maintaining LLMs, agents, and other AI solutions created by individual GTM colleagues to boost performance and/or productivity among large groups of GTM colleagues.

• Collaborate with GTM Enablement and GTM Communications to ensure the effective rollout and adoption of new GTM solutions, enhancements, and AI capabilities.

• Act as the subject matter expert by providing and editing content for communications, training, and ongoing reference as necessary.

• Offer leadership and guidance to the overall GTM organization in the application of artificial intelligence, including tips for AI prompts and high-value GTM use cases for utilizing Gemini.

• Partner with colleagues in other Alteryx departments (Marketing, Products, etc.) to ensure alignment in the development and evolution of AI solutions, share AI knowledge and tips, and address cross-departmental challenges that should be handled with AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in GTM operations within a high-tech company, with substantial experience in re-engineering GTM processes.

• Broad experience across various GTM operations functions is preferred.

• At least 5 years of direct management experience leading GTM operations teams.

• Experience in building new teams and managing both onshore and offshore teams is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years as a business owner for the GTM technology landscape, demonstrating success in rationalizing and transforming systems.

• Over 3 years of deep, hands-on experience in developing with AI tools, scaling AI-based solutions, and managing modern technology stacks, along with the operational insight to know when and how to deploy them effectively.

• Experience in managing AI developers is strongly preferred.

• Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and collaboration skills with executives, sales managers, sales representatives, cross-departmental leaders, development teams, and IT.

• Executive presence.

• High comfort level and proven success in presenting to and advising business executives.

• Advanced ability to drive and manage change effectively.

• A team player who adds significant value in cross-functional initiatives as either a leader or a team member.

• A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science/Intelligence.
