This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Directly overseeing four Regional Solutions Engineering Managers (AMER, EMEA North, EMEA South, Channel/SMB), with matrix functional supervision of emerging-markets SE capabilities in LATAM and APAC.
• Crafting and implementing the global SE operating model: AE-aligned coverage by segment along with a defined career trajectory from individual contributor to senior management.
• Collaborating with global leaders in Customer Success, Revenue, R&D, Engineering, and other departments to drive KPIs and fulfill OKRs.
• Enhancing SE teams to enable effective technical storytelling and steering the narrative throughout our pre-sales cycle.
• Taking ownership of all facets of the technical evaluation process, commencing from the discovery phase (SS2), advancing through evaluation (SS3), and culminating in business closure — for new bookings, expansions, and renewals.
• Leading the transition to consultative selling: proactive discovery, solution design aligned with customer outcomes, quantified ROI, and post-sale optimization via Customer Success.
• Advocating for and utilizing AI to enhance SE team productivity, including AI coding tools, automated demo and PoC generation, and AI-assisted discovery and solution design to accelerate ramp-up, improve deal velocity, and free up SE capacity for high-judgment tasks.
• Formulating strategies to achieve business objectives through our Value Engineering process, which utilizes real quantitative customer data.
• Collaborating with our Demo Engineering team to create compelling examples that highlight our technology and validate ROI.
• Aiding in quarterly quota achievement by securing technical victories in net new business.
• Implementing best practices and data-driven initiatives to enhance results, including win rates, sales cycles, product adoption, and the efficiency of our revenue support functions.
• Upholding operational best practices within the team by maintaining consistent communication with customers and collaborating with account teams to accurately forecast technical wins.
• Recruiting, mentoring, and retaining senior SE talent while building a robust management pipeline.
• Serving as a trusted advisor and consultant both internally and externally.
• Over 6 years of leadership experience in building and scaling high-performing global Solutions Engineering teams in SaaS, including second-line leadership and oversight of organizations with more than 20 team members.
• 4 to 6 years of hands-on Solutions Engineer experience, engaging with all segments, from SMB/Mid Market to Enterprise and Strategic accounts.
• Proven success in developing and managing a multi-layered management structure (managers of managers).
• Strong technical foundation with prior developer experience in a high-level programming language such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar.
• A thorough understanding of web technologies and the architecture of various ecosystems to develop scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with headless solutions and architecture, modern commerce stacks, and AI/search applications.
• A demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing quotas in various economic conditions.
• Experience in scaling global teams (both EMEA and AMER) across rapidly expanding and emerging markets.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills (capable of engaging confidently at the C-suite level to advocate for the team).
• A commitment to leading by example and fostering a healthy work environment that is both supportive and challenging.
• Experience at our current stage and beyond (over 17,000 customers, $200–300M ARR range, high growth, significant change, and the establishment of internal infrastructure).
• Ability to empower teams to independently solve problems while recognizing when to intervene to provide guidance, eliminate obstacles, or drive alignment.
